Information and Booking

Two classics in one: in this module, for the first time, we are looking at both holiday information and the booking offices and channels for holiday trips within a single module. This enables us to describe the interrelationships across a larger part of the customer journey than before.

The following questions are answered:

  • How important are online and offline sources when it comes to holiday information?
  • Which sources of information are used before going on holiday?
  • Which booking offices and channels are used?
  • How are different sources of information and booking options combined?
  • What differences are there between different segments?
  • What are the expectations regarding bookings made at travel agencies or online?

These findings are supplemented by questions regarding attitudes towards travel agency bookings and online bookings.

  • Trend Monitoring 1: A survey on information similar to those in the previous modules (2025, 2022, 2020, 2018, 2016), annual survey of booking offices and booking channels.
  • Trend Monitoring 2: Survey on expectations, most recently RA 2019.
