The RA Business is a additional service of the FUR, (Forschungsgemeinschaft Urlaub und Reisen | Research Association for Holidays and Travel). The aim of the RA Business is a scientifically validated annual survey of overnight business travellers in the German source market, their travel behaviour and attitudes through representative surveys. A comparison of travel behaviour on business trips and holiday trips or short breaks is also aimed at. The NIT, Institute for Tourism and Spa Research in Northern Europe, is entrusted with the conception and implementation of the project. The project is accompanied by the Deutsches Institut für Tourismusforschung of the FH Westküste (German institute of tourism research of the West Coast University of Applied Science)s. The RA Business seamlessly follows a research project from 2019 to 2021 by the FUR, the NIT and the German Institute for Tourism Research.
